Task : Best digital
practices across the world
Task Description : This task requires you to do an analysis of the global best practices to
empower citizens with digital access.
India leapfrogged in providing
telecommunication access to all of its citizens through the mobile revolution.
India must leapfrog in providing governance to all citizens by empowering them
with digital access and services. This task will help you learn from across the
globe and will challenge you to think about what is best suited for
India.
My Task
Response : One of the best practice using digital technology is Smart Card
“MyKad” the compulsory identity document for Malaysian citizens. Malaysia
became the 1st country in the world to use an identification card that
incorporates both photo identification & biometric data. It also serves as
birth Certificate, Driver’s License, Digital Money & Public Key.
